Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon, IN

Saint Joseph Health System Dec 22, 2025 Jan 5, 2026 Potential for ongoing sporadic coverage

Position Highlights

  • 5 6 procedures/week

    • 2 hearts/week

    • 2 3 lungs/week

  • 16 ORs ER Volume: 45K/year

  • Full CT support: CT-NP, CT-PA, CT rounding nurse

  • EMR: EPIC

  • Credentialing: 30 days

Required Procedures

Cardiac:

  • CABG

  • Arterial revascularization

  • Redo coronary revascularization

  • Valve repair & replacement

  • Mitral valve repair

  • CoreValve (TAVR)

Thoracic:

  • Tube thoracostomy

  • Pericardial window

  • Lung biopsy, resections, pneumonectomy

  • Decortication

  • Chest wall reconstruction

  • Mediastinal surgery

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Required

  • Active Indiana License & DEA/CSR Required

  • Available for all coverage dates Required

  • 24-hr call w/ 4 hours gratis Required
