Surgical Dental Assistant

$28–$34/hour | Full-Time | No Weekends | Upper East Side, NYC

Join our prestigious Upper East Side dental practice as a Surgical Dental Assistant! We are seeking a skilled, professional, and patient-focused team member to assist in sophisticated surgical procedures, including IV sedation.

This is an excellent long-term career opportunity for someone with surgical dental assisting experience who wants to grow professionally within a supportive practice—without the need to pursue additional schooling.

What You’ll Do

As a Surgical Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that surgical procedures run smoothly while delivering a safe and comfortable experience for patients. Responsibilities include:

Assisting the dentist during surgical procedures, including IV sedation
Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment
Ensuring patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures
Maintaining accurate patient records and surgical documentation
Supporting the clinical team to ensure a high standard of care and efficiency

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years of surgical dental assisting experience
Experience with IV sedation is required
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and professionalism
Positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Schedule

Monday – Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
No weekends
