Join an Expanding Surgical Team
A growing hospital in Wakefield, Rhode Island is seeking an experienced Surgical Nurse Practitioner to support its surgical services. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of surgeons while providing exceptional perioperative and postoperative patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations
- Assist in the operating room as needed
- Manage inpatient and outpatient surgical follow-up care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with surgeons
- Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and recovery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
- Previous surgical or first-assist experience preferred
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
