Surgical Scrub Tech

Location: Bozeman, MT

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details

Position Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 3 months
Pay Rate: $65.00 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist prepares the equipment, instruments, and supplies during surgery as well as protects the sterile area. Incumbents must have a clear understanding of the surgical procedure being performed in order to anticipate needs of the performing surgeon.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), or certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic medical record documentation preferred

Required Experience

3 to 5 years experience required
