Job Description:

The Surgical Scrub Tech position works under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed practitioner,this position is responsible for performing a variety of duties in an operating room to assist the surgical team in support of the nursing vision. Plans and implements care for patients with a variety of surgical problems.  In order to achieve world class engagement and to build hope, health and healing for all internal and external customers, this position must adhere to the Mary Lanning values.

EDUCATION: Associates Degree-Surgical Technologist from an accredited school required. 

EXPERIENCE: Up to 6 months on the job experience and training as a surgical technologist preferred. 

CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: BLS certification within 3 months of employment required. Scrub Tech Certification (CST) required.

*Uncertified candidates will be considered at the discretion of the Director.
