POSITION: OR Tech

SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

" Shift hours: 4x10s, 645a-515p, plus call, occasional weekends and holidays

" Weekend Requirement: Weekend rotation with staff (see call)

" On call requirement: Call rotation with staff. 4-5 weekday calls per 6 weeks and one potential weekend call 24 hours or one backup weekend call

" RTO: ALL requests must be included in the submission

" Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks

" Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract.

" Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes

" Locals Accepted? No locals accepted. Refer to Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria.

REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

" BLS

" NBSTSA, NCCT, or military OR Tech Cert acceptedVA or other state license required

" If traveler holds an out of state license, they are required to obtain a VA state license. A 90 day authorization will be required so the traveler can work while VA state license is being issued.

REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS

" Strong general, ortho (total joints), vascular, and gyn experience required.

UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING

" May be required to float within skillset.
