Position / Specialty: CVOR Tech Start date: 2/23 Ratios: N/A Schedule:3x12s Mids 1100-2330 Start Years of experience Req: 3 Years First-timers accepted: No Weekend Req: Yes on an as needed basis Certs Req: BLS Call Req: Yes CT Circulator Call: 3 weeknight call shifts per 4 week schedule and 2 - 24hr wknds per month (total of 5 call shifts) Floating within Hospital: Yes Floating to sister Hospitals: No Open to accommodating block schedule: No unless posting states otherwise Locals accepted: Yes Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: 1 Week Max Special Notes: Ave daily census: 50-75 Rooms: 28 Floating to other specialties if slow Patient Population: Orthopedic sports (limited total joints) lots of minimally invasive arthroscopic and, laparoscopic, cases, Robotics, General, GYN, URO, and Plastics. Experience with Neuro, Spine, Thoracic and Vascular a plus. Very busy, high acuity academic environment however Guaranteed Hours: In the event of low census Healthcare Providers may be called off without charge or placed on-call (for standard on-call rate) inhour increments up to 1 shifts worth of hours in a 2 week cycle. For ambulatory or surgical services areas that are closed on weekends and holidays, Hospitals will not schedule travelers or meet the minimum during these periods.
