Job Description

Job Title: Surgical Technician – TRAVEL ONLYOverview: Join our team as a Surgical Technician dedicated to providing exceptional support during complex surgical procedures. In this vital role, you will assist physicians, handle equipment with precision, and ensure a sterile environment to contribute to patient safety and successful outcomes. Your skills will directly impact the quality of care delivered in a fast-paced, teamwork-oriented setting, making for a rewarding and impactful career.Pay: $1,600 WeeklyShift: 6:30am - 5pmRequired Skills:
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a surgical or medical setting*
  • Proficiency in assisting during procedures and handling surgical equipment*
  • Strong organizational and time management skills*
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and adapt to changing clinical environments*
  • Basic analytical skills for technical tasks and troubleshooting*
  • Capable of maintaining a sterile and safe clinical environment
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent*
  • Graduate from an accepted surgical technology certification course
Other Requirements:
  • Certification in Surgical Technology*
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association*
  • Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 100 pounds, and exerting 10-20 pounds frequently*
  • Exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue, and potential communicable diseases in a healthcare setting*
  • Occupational risk of exposure to hazardous medications, waste, or infectious materials
