What You’ll Do
  • Assist physicians during procedures by providing competent, professional surgical support.
  • Scrub for surgical procedures and support the team with prepared instrumentation and supplies.
  • Assist with day-to-day department operations to help maintain efficient workflow.
  • Ensure proper handling, setup, and maintenance of equipment and surgical supplies for procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appropriate disinfection of endoscopes while following quality controls.
  • Adapt to department needs and changes in a positive, constructive manner.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the RN as part of the surgical team.
What You NeedRequired
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate from an accepted Surgical Technology certification course
  • 2+ years of experience in specialty
  • Certification in Surgical Technology
  • BLS through American Heart Association
Preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to be self-directed and demonstrate good judgment
  • Experience maintaining clinical knowledge, technical skills, and credential requirements
About the AssignmentYou’ll work in a surgical environment supporting patient care by ensuring the availability and proper handling of equipment and supplies.
