Demonstrates accountability and responsibility in daily performance of role.Graduate of CAAHEP accredited surgical technology program or formal program as defined by the LCCST or who has completed the structured on the job training program at Bridgeport Hospital.Completion of licensed Certified Surgical Technology Program. As of January 1, 2012 all newly hired Surgical Technologist will be certified or obtain certification within 1 year of employment. Surgical Technician hired before January 1, 2012 will be grandfathered in.Evidence of successful completion of MCH/OR training program (score of 85% or better on exam).
