Job Description

SummaryThe SVP, IT Application Development is responsible for technology modernization and capability engineering with an eye on the future. The selected candidate is expected to build strong relationships within IT and other department leaders to drive the modernization and transformation agenda. This position is instrumental in meeting a company’s strategic goals. Position is onsite 5 days per week in Las Vegas, NV, and relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

12–15+ years of progressive IT experience with 5+ years in senior leadership within the banking or financial services industry (required).
Proven experience leading cloud modernization, microservices architecture, and DevOps/CI/CD initiatives across secure, regulated environments.
Strong background delivering technology solutions across banking sales, acquisition, credit, or customer lifecycle platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead and scale engineering teams to modernize core systems and build secure, compliant platforms supporting digital acquisition, credit, and customer growth.
Define architecture strategy and oversee solution design, technical risk evaluation, and delivery across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
Partner with executive stakeholders across technology, risk, and business units to drive program execution, budgeting, and delivery of strategic banking initiatives.
