Position SummaryThe SVP, IT Development (Sales & Acquisition Engineering) is responsible for technology modernization and capability engineering with an eye on the future. SVP, IT Development (Sales & Acquisition Engineering) is expected to build strong relationships within IT and other department leaders to drive the modernization and transformation agenda. This position is instrumental in meeting a company’s strategic goals. Position is onsite 5 days per week in Las Vegas, NV, and relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

12–15+ years of progressive IT experience with 5+ years in senior leadership within the banking or financial services industry (required).
Proven experience leading cloud modernization, microservices architecture, and DevOps/CI/CD initiatives across secure, regulated environments.
Strong background delivering technology solutions across banking sales, acquisition, credit, or customer lifecycle platforms.
10+ years of experience building technology solutions in Sales and Acquisition domain

Responsibilities

Build and manage a team of software engineers focusing on technology modernization and re-engineering of Bank’s IT systems
Provide solution conceptual design to projects based on architecture standards, assertions/guidelines, and usage patterns ensuring security, scalability and supportability.
Oversee the engineering function during evaluation of concepts including technical risks, architecture, dependencies and technical aspect of incubation plan to build and launch into market.
Ability to implement on-prem, cloud-based & hybrid implementation strategies for responsive web and mobile applications and lay the foundation to deliver functional prototypes in weeks not months.
Support IT leadership functions including annual planning, budgeting, status reporting, presentations and continuous improvement.
