Job Details

Set up and operate CNC Swiss Lathe machines to produce precision components to printInterpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to understand machining requirements and tolerancesRead and follow job travelers, setup sheets, and work instructionsSelect tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds appropriate for each jobPerform offsets, tool changes, and program edits as needed to maintain qualityMonitor machine performance and adjust settings to ensure consistent productionConduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, dimensional variation, and program errorsDeburr and finish parts to meet customer specificationsMaintain equipment, perform routine preventative maintenance, and keep a clean work areaDocument production results and ensure compliance with quality standards and proceduresCollaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes and efficiency
