Job Description
E-Logic is seeking a skilled System Administration Support Specialist to provide comprehensive IT operations support to the 99th Civil Engineer Squadron at Nellis AFB. This role includes system administration, help desk support, user management, network connectivity, cybersecurity compliance, and operational support across both NIPR (unclassified) and SIPR (classified) environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems in NIPR/SIPR environments
- Maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices
- Apply security patches and system updates
- Ensure systems meet DoD and Air Force cybersecurity requirements
- Maintain network connectivity including wired and wireless connections
- Provide technical support to over 650 users
- Resolve hardware and software issues
- Create, modify, and remove user accounts
- Manage permissions, security groups, and distribution lists
- Track requests using approved ticketing systems
- Forward issues to Enterprise Service Desk when required
- Connect workstations to network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Configure peripheral devices and communications equipment
- Support handheld devices and mobile technology
- Ensure systems comply with information assurance policies
- Support internal control assessments (MICT)
- Maintain security posture in accordance with DoD standards
- Participate in inspections and compliance reviews
- Maintain TACLANE encryption devices for SIPR networks
- Support Video Teleconference (VTC/SVTC) systems
- Administer CES SharePoint sites and permissions
- Submit and track service requests to communications units
- Provide technical guidance to leadership on software and system needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- CompTIA Security+ certification (IAT Level II)
- Minimum 3 years of IT system administration or support experience
- Experience supporting enterprise IT environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networks
- Experience with help desk operations and ticketing systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with NIPR/SIPR environments
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar systems
- SharePoint administration experience
- Prior DoD or Air Force experience
