Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a System Safety Engineer - ENG04 - Cleared On-Site to join our Client's team.

As a Principal System Safety Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Analysis of engineering hardware and electrical drawings and schematics assessing for fault tolerance, latent hazards, and safety requirements complianceWorking with test and tactical operating and maintenance procedures to assure the proper administrative controls are in placeWorking across all integrated product teams and lines to properly eliminate hazards or provide effective controls.Provide creative solutions to maximize safety functionality without impeding critical performance.Providing leadership in collaborations with Program Management and government approval authorities from program startup through production to demilitarization and disposal

Responsibilities to Anticipate:Design of concise, testable safety requirements or providing safety analysis of existing requirementsPerforming System Safety Program or Design analysesPlacement in challenging or under-performing programs with the expectation of improvement of the safety programManaging multiple-large system safety programs or a safety product lineCollaborating with other disciplines during program technical execution,Interfacing with key stakeholders (e.g. customers, program offices, subcontractors, vendors)Mentoring Multiple Jr. EngineersPreparing Safety Assessment Reports and Safety Program Briefs for Customer ApprovalStreamlining processes and reports across a product line for improved efficiencyBriefing safety of the program at technical reviews and as part of the safety approval processInterpreting system requirements, customer specifications and militarystandardsPreparing internal and customer reports describing various analyses relevant to the System Safety programCollaborating across multiple disciplines to gain a full understanding of product architecture and design
