Job Description: Space and Airborne Systems Mission Networks sector is seeking an experienced and talented Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of technical planning, system integration, and the ability to perform comprehensive network system analyses. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Wireless Cellular technologies like LTE and 5G and satellite such as STARLINK. The primary responsibility will be to design backhaul communication solutions for disadvantaged sites within the National Airspace System (NAS).Responsibilities:

•Perform technical planning and system integration to develop total system solutions.

•Conduct verification and validation processes, ensuring that designs meet customer requirements.

•Perform cost and risk analyses to ensure supportability and effectiveness of systems.

•Engage in concept development, system design, fabrication, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal of systems.

•Convert customer or product requirements into total systems solutions, balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

•Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies to optimize design solutions.

•Allocate requirements and define interfaces to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

•Develop wireless communication solutions leveraging LTE, 5G, and STARLINK technologies for enhanced backhaul capabilities.

•Ensure seamless integration and operation of communication networks in the NAS.

•Collaborate and lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.

•Generate content and present at system development lifecycle design reviews such as SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, and TRRRequired Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 12 years of prior relevant experience.

•Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 10 years of prior relevant experience.

•In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.

•Proven experience with Wireless Cellular technologies such as LTE and 5G.

•Experience with STARLINK Services

•Demonstrated ability to perform system analysis at all levels, from concept to disposal.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

•Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable hardware and software specifications.

•Eligibility to be granted and maintain an FAA Public Trust level clearancePreferred Qualifications:

•INCOSE®‎Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification

•Relevant certifications in Cellular and Satellite Technologies such as CWDP, CWAP, Fundamentals and Technology Certifications in 5G or LTE, or CSNP

•Experience in the National Airspace System (NAS) or other aviation-related systems.
