Job Description

Join Teledyne Imaging Sensors as a Systems Engineering Intern (Spring Semester)!

Are you ready to launch your career to the next level? Join our mission-focused team, where we value technical excellence, collaboration, and agility. We're the world's leading provider of infrared sensors for space, with customers like NASA, ESA, and the US Department of Defense.

What You'll Do:

  • Write Python code and use QFitsView or similar software to analyze FITS files.

  • Maintain the Requirements Cross‑Reference Matrix.

  • Review mechanical drawings and related documents.

  • Analyze test data and support cryogenic testing.

  • Support the Engineering Change process and drive document releases.

What You Need:

  • Proficiency in Python.

  • Strong attention to detail, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

  • Hands‑on experience performing test and debug activities.

  • Previous exposure to one or more of the following:

  • Imaging systems

  • Semiconductors

  • High‑speed PCB design

  • Optics

  • Cryogenic testing

  • FITS/QFITS files

  • Rising BS senior or MS/PhD student in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Astronomy, or a related field.

  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Salary Range:

$50,600.00-$67,500.000
