Job Description

Western Engineering Co Inc is on the lookout for reliable Tack Truck Driver with a CDL Class A or B license to join our team! As a member of our crew, you will play a key role in our asphalt paving projects by transporting and applying tack oil to our job sites, ensuring that our paving operations run smoothly. Responsibilities

Safely operate a tack truck to transport tack oil to various construction sites
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
Maintain accurate and timely records of deliveries and vehicle usage
Communicate effectively with Project Managers and Foreman regarding schedules and project needs
Load and unload materials as needed while ensuring equipment remains in good condition
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to provide a safe working environment for everyone.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class B driver's license with a clean driving record
Previous trucking or driving experience, preferably in the construction industry, is a plus!
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on the road
Excellent communication skills; positive attitude and teamwork are a must!
Ability to handle physical labor involved with loading and unloading materials
Willingness to work flexible hours, including some overtime as needed
Pass a pre-employment drug screening
