Tactical Communications Policy Strategy AnalystAlexandria, VA Pay From: $160,000 per yearMUST:Tactical Communications Policy Strategy AnalystTS/SCI14+ years of relevant experienceMust have experience with RF waveforms, communications gateways, and network development and/or oversightRequired Experience as, or supporting, a headquarters; Joint Staff; or Service staff officer and/or senior leadershipRequired experience with demonstrated familiarity with tactical communications vendors and technologies, including SATURN, HQ, SINCGARS, HF, Link-16, BFT, WREN, and/or related tactical communications waveforms and systemsRequired experience developing DoD issuances, strategy, and related documentsExperience conducting technical and programmatic research and providing information & decision papersPreferred Knowledge of Open Systems Architecture development and implementationExperience coordinating, sponsoring, and facilitating large scale technical meetings/conferences preferredBS Degree in a related technical discipline such as physics, computer science, information technology, mathematics or similar and 14+ years of relevant experience OR any Master's degree and 10+ years of relevant experienceDUTIES:The Tactical Communications Policy and Strategy Analyst to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Deputy Chief Information Office (CIO) for Command, Control, and Communications. In this role you will work on the development of policies, guidance, strategy, architectures, and systems engineering for communications and information network programs and initiatives.
