Talent Acquisition Associate (Temp), Human Resources (HR) Department

CAMBA’s Human Resources (HR) Department manages all aspects of human resources functions such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee benefits, compensation, policies & procedures, training & development, performance management, employee relations, compliance, medical leaves, reasonable accommodations, and human resources information systems.

Position: Talent Acquisition Associate (Temp)

Reports To: Director of Talent Acquisition

Location: 1720 Church Avenue Brooklyn NY 11226/Hybrid Remote

What The Talent Acquisition Associate (Temp) Does:

• Support the design and restructure of Talent Acquisition and support implement the recruitment process
• Assists with job posting and advertisement processes as needed or in the absence of the Talent Acquisition Coordinator
• Screen resumes and applications to select qualified candidates based on relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
• Prepares interview questions and selection materials
• Performs first round screening of potential candidate
• Attends and participates in job fair and recruiting sessions promoting
• Working with a variety of sources, both external and internal, to source best candidates for open positions.
• Working with hiring managers to make candidate determinations
• Prepare and execute job offers
• Manage the recruitment life-cycle
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

• Associate Degree, Bachelor’s preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Two (2) years of relevant work experience, preferably in a mid-sized (250+ employees) organization.
• Basic analytical & math skills.
• Good written & verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Computer literacy in other Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Experience with Human Resources Information Systems & Applicant Tracking System.

Compensation: $24-$27 hourlyWhen salary ranges are listed, the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and candidate. This includes but is not limited to experience, education, budget and/or program size, internal equity, skills and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.
