Job Description
Our client, an Am Law 50 law firm, is seeking a Talent Acquisition & Development Coordinator to support firmwide attorney recruiting and professional development initiatives. This role plays a key part in executing campus recruiting, summer associate programming, and attorney development efforts, while partnering closely with both local and global talent teams.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
Coordinate campus recruiting and summer associate programs, including interview scheduling, candidate follow-up, hiring committee preparation, prospect outreach, and summer associate programming (work assignments, training, and social events)
Assist with onboarding and orientation schedules for new hires
Track and monitor the local recruiting budget
Collaborate with Global Talent Acquisition team members on firmwide initiatives and programs
Talent Development
Coordinate local associate relations events and in-house attorney training programs
Partner with Global Talent Development teams to implement firmwide initiatives, including coaching programs and training academies
Monitor associate relations and professional development budgets
Additional Responsibilities
Provide support for special events, including occasional evenings and weekends
Travel as needed for recruiting and development initiatives
Assist with additional projects and initiatives as assigned
Proficiencies
Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience coordinating training programs, events, and large-scale initiatives
Working knowledge of legal recruiting and attorney development practices
Solid communication skills with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal environment (required)
Prior experience in human resources, attorney recruiting, law school career services, or talent development preferred
This role will support our campus recruiting program in this office and is a hybrid role focused on recruiting and development.
We are seeking 2+ years’ recruiting experience (pref campus recruiting), and law firm experience is ideal!
