Job Description

Our client, an Am Law 50 law firm, is seeking a Talent Acquisition & Development Coordinator to support firmwide attorney recruiting and professional development initiatives. This role plays a key part in executing campus recruiting, summer associate programming, and attorney development efforts, while partnering closely with both local and global talent teams.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Coordinate campus recruiting and summer associate programs, including interview scheduling, candidate follow-up, hiring committee preparation, prospect outreach, and summer associate programming (work assignments, training, and social events)

  • Assist with onboarding and orientation schedules for new hires

  • Track and monitor the local recruiting budget

  • Collaborate with Global Talent Acquisition team members on firmwide initiatives and programs

Talent Development

  • Coordinate local associate relations events and in-house attorney training programs

  • Partner with Global Talent Development teams to implement firmwide initiatives, including coaching programs and training academies

  • Monitor associate relations and professional development budgets

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide support for special events, including occasional evenings and weekends

  • Travel as needed for recruiting and development initiatives

  • Assist with additional projects and initiatives as assigned

Proficiencies

  • Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Experience coordinating training programs, events, and large-scale initiatives

  • Working knowledge of legal recruiting and attorney development practices

  • Solid communication skills with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal environment (required)

  • Prior experience in human resources, attorney recruiting, law school career services, or talent development preferred

    This role will support our campus recruiting program in this office and is a hybrid role focused on recruiting and development.

    We are seeking 2+ years’ recruiting experience (pref campus recruiting), and law firm experience is ideal!
