JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is responsible for delivering recruiting and talent acquisition services while building strong relationships with hiring leaders and key stakeholders across the organization. This position partners with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, attract qualified candidates, and facilitate effective hiring processes that support business objectives and service delivery needs. The chosen candidate will support Indiana market and must reside within the state of Indiana.

Success in this role is measured through the ability to develop trusted partnerships, identify and engage qualified candidates, leverage technology and recruiting tools to improve hiring outcomes, and provide a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner utilizes recruiting technology, AI-enabled tools, talent acquisition data, and sourcing strategies to support recruiting efforts, improve efficiency, and strengthen talent attraction initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and manage recruiting and hiring activities, including applicant tracking systems, recruitment platforms, candidate communications, and recruiting documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with hiring managers and operational leaders to understand hiring needs and support recruiting efforts.
  • Support leaders in identifying current and anticipated hiring needs and workforce priorities.
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies for assigned positions to attract qualified talent.
  • Source, screen, assess, and evaluate candidates for required competencies, qualifications, and experience.
  • Utilize artificial intelligence (AI), automation tools, recruiting technology, and talent acquisition systems to support sourcing, candidate engagement, operational efficiency, and hiring outcomes.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging recruiting technologies, labor market trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve recruiting effectiveness.
  • Leverage recruiting data and key performance indicators to monitor hiring activity and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain recruiting reports and support talent acquisition metric tracking.
  • Share relevant talent market information and hiring trends to support recruitment decisions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Partner with Marketing, Human Resources, operational leaders, and community organizations to support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives.
  • Support employer branding efforts through candidate engagement, recruitment marketing activities, community outreach, and networking opportunities.
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career events, university partnerships, community outreach efforts, and recruitment activities.
  • Generate and extend employment offers and facilitate offer discussions as appropriate.
  • Assist with compensation benchmarking and compensation administration activities as assigned.
  • Support internship, residency, fellowship, and workforce development initiatives as assigned.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screening activities and hiring requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, organizational policies, and recruiting best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Copilot, and other business productivity tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, adapt, and effectively utilize evolving technology platforms, artificial intelligence tools, automation solutions, and recruiting technologies.
  • Strong verbal, written, virtual, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder partnership skills.
  • Ability to establish credibility and effectively collaborate with hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Knowledge of recruiting processes, sourcing techniques, candidate assessment methods, and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, and sourcing tools.
  • Ability to interpret recruiting metrics and key performance indicators to support decision-making and recruitment activities.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and responsiveness.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

Bachelor's degree required.

OR

Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field may be substituted in lieu of the degree.

Years of Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or human resources experience required.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple hiring managers and requisitions in a fast-paced environment preferred.

$48,300.00--$67,700.00
