A Brief Overview

The Talent Acquisition Representative I or II supports recruiting efforts with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining partnerships with colleges and universities. This role coordinates and participates in career fairs and other campus engagement events, serving as a key representative of the company to students and early-career candidates. The position provides recruiting support and administrative duties through the Workday applicant tracking system, including monitoring and updating candidate pipelines and conducting candidate phone screens. As a first point of contact for job candidates visiting the Omaha office, the representative delivers excellent customer service, maintains strict confidentiality, manages Human Resources records, and prepares recruiting and HR reports.

This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE and is eligible for Hybrid work.

What will you do?

  • Talent Engagement: Support early-stage candidate engagement by conducting phone screens, coordinating and attending career fairs and university events, and maintaining college/university relationships. Assist with campus partnerships, summer intern housing coordination, talent pooling from events, and candidate sourcing and communication through the applicant tracking system.

  • Administrative Support: Manage and track prospects and interns within the applicant tracking system, including educational data and graduation timelines. Support intern communications regarding open roles and assist with social media and market research as needed.

  • Job Postings: Post approved internship roles to college career sites, job boards, and publications. Ensure job posting accuracy and assist recruiters with drafting internal and external postings.

  • Recruiting Support and Testing: Provide recruiting support through candidate scheduling, testing coordination, travel arrangements, and onsite candidate support. Maintain recruiting records, testing results, and ensure compliance with EEO, ADA, and applicable employment laws.

  • HR Records and Billing Support: Maintain recruiting procedures, HR records, and reports, including recruiting metrics and job openings. Support contingent labor billing and track temporary agency data and reports.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

  • Two or more years work experience.

  • Applicant Tracking Software experience

  • Company policies and procedures related to Human Resources

  • College/University engagement and partnership experience

  • Human Resource laws and practices
