Job Description

Air Products is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Driver Recruiting team. In this role you will develop and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract a strong pool of qualified driver candidates. This role requires a team‑oriented professional with a positive attitude, strong customer focus, and preferably experience recruiting within the transportation industry. This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle requisitions and candidates for CDL driver positions and assist with other roles as needed.
  • Build and maintain a strong internal network with key team members and utilize external networks.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and HR consistently throughout recruitment life cycle.
  • Leverage labor market knowledge to draft the adequate source strategy and find talent.
  • Understand business leaders' requirements and collaborate on the most effective way to deliver high-quality talent with speed.
  • Challenge and educate hiring managers on applicant/talent selection, business/talent risks of hiring certain candidates, and assumptions.
  • Conduct and lead Intake Meeting with Hiring Manager and calibrations meetings as needed during recruitment.
  • Conduct phone interviews and schedule interviews.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Coordinator and MyHR throughout the recruitment to ensure good candidate experience through onboarding.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Recruiting or staffing experience for CDL positions is required.
  • Prior experience in Transitioning Service Member and Veteran recruitment is strongly desired.
  • Knowledge of DOT / FMCSA regulations
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree and/or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Solid experience using applicant tracking systems such as Workday and Tenstreet preferred.
  • Solid experience proactively sourcing candidates using resume databases, Boolean/x-ray search techniques, LinkedIn and networking with professional organizations.
  • Shown success in meeting and exceeding (KPI)Key Performance Indicators and TA data metrics.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload, and operate independently
  • Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • A "can‑do" attitude with a strong work ethic
