With delivery centers and offices across North America and India, we take pride in building long-term relationships and delivering excellence through innovation, collaboration, and integrity.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment activities for the Space and Defense Group in a flexible, hybrid schedule at our Blacksburg, VA facility. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in full-cycle, high-volume recruiting within manufacturing environments and a proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and deliver qualified talent efficiently.Responsibilities:Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements and develop sourcing strategies.Support assigned functions by attending town halls and business update meetings.Identify and partner with technical vocational schools and local workforce organizations.Plan and coordinate on-site hiring events and represent the company at local job fairs and industry networking events.Proactively source candidates through multiple channels.Conduct phone screens and present qualified candidates to hiring teams.Prepare, extend, and negotiate offers in line with guidelines.Compose and post clear, attractive job advertisements.Maintain data integrity in the Applicant Tracking System (Workday).Communicate with hiring teams throughout the recruitment process.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree.5+ years of full-cycle recruiting with high-volume requisition management.Experience recruiting and hiring in a manufacturing environment.Ability to build relationships and influence partners at all levels.Strong organization with an ability to act with urgency.Resourceful and creative approach to talent attraction.Preferred Skills:Experience with Workday Applicant Tracking System.Experience recruiting for space, defense, or advanced manufacturing roles.Why BCforward?At BCforward, we believe in advancing lives and careers.
