Join Contoro Robotics – Revolutionizing Warehouse Automation with Cutting-Edge Robotics

At Contoro Robotics, we're on a mission to solve labor challenges through advanced robotic solutions. Headquartered in Austin, TX, our fast-growing startup is transforming the supply chain industry with our flagship warehouse automation technology. Our team is made up of top-tier experts in robotics, AI, and logistics, working together to push the boundaries of automation.

We’re looking for talented and ambitious individuals to join us on this journey—helping shape the future of robotics while growing alongside a world-class team. If you're passionate about innovation, problem-solving, and making a real-world impact, we want to hear from you!

Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing Contoro Robotics' recruiting efforts across technical, engineering, operational, and corporate functions.

This position will partner closely with hiring managers and the HRBP Manager to identify talent needs, source and engage candidates, coordinate the interview process, and deliver a strong candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance.

The ideal candidate will have prior recruiting experience within the robotics, automation, warehouse/logistics technology, engineering, or broader technology industry and be comfortable recruiting for both technical and operational roles in a fast-paced startup environment.

When hiring volume is lower, this role will support talent programs, employer branding, university recruiting, workforce planning, and other HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Partner with hiring managers and the HRBP Manager to understand hiring needs, position requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical, engineering, operational, and corporate positions.

  • Create and maintain job descriptions and job postings.

  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, universities, networking, and other recruiting channels.

  • Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings.

  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers.

  • Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication throughout the hiring process.

  • Collect interview feedback and help move candidates efficiently through the recruiting process.

  • Support offer preparation, approvals, negotiations, and offer-stage communication.

  • Coordinate with HR to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to new hire.

Recruiting Operations

  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the ATS.

  • Develop and maintain recruiting workflows, interview guides, scorecards, templates, and documentation.

  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline activity, and offer acceptance.

  • Maintain relationships with external recruiters, staffing agencies, and recruiting vendors when needed.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency and the candidate experience.

Talent Pipeline & Programs

  • Develop proactive talent pipelines for frequently hired and difficult-to-fill positions.

  • Build relationships with universities, engineering programs, technical programs, and other relevant talent sources.

  • Support employee referral programs.

  • Assist the HRBP Manager with workforce and headcount planning.

  • Maintain awareness of talent-market trends and recruiting challenges within robotics, automation, engineering, warehouse/logistics technology, and related industries.

Employer Branding

  • Support the company's careers page, recruiting materials, and employer branding initiatives.

  • Develop recruiting content for LinkedIn and other talent channels.

  • Represent the company at recruiting events, university events, and career fairs.

  • Help communicate Contoro's technology, culture, mission, and employee experience to candidates.

Additional HR Support

  • Support onboarding and employee engagement initiatives as needed.

  • Assist with talent-related HR projects during periods of lower recruiting activity.

  • Support job-description maintenance and organizational planning projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.

  • 1–3 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, including experience recruiting within the robotics, automation, warehouse/logistics technology, engineering, or technology industry.

  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and recruiting technical or engineering talent.

  • Experience sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates through multiple recruiting channels.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively partner with hiring managers.

  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities.

  • Experience with ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.

  • Familiarity with technical roles in areas such as robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software, controls, manufacturing, automation, or warehouse operations is strongly preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where hiring priorities may change quickly.

Success in This Role

Success means developing a reliable internal recruiting function that consistently identifies strong talent, builds effective pipelines for specialized technical roles, creates an excellent candidate experience, and gives hiring managers the support and processes needed to make effective hiring decisions.

The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of Contoro's robotics technology and talent needs and be able to effectively identify and engage candidates within the robotics, automation, engineering, and warehouse technology talent markets.
