Here's how you can help. We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and rise to the challenge of empowering service. 

Position Highlights: 

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a vital role on the Human Resources team at Lions International.   

The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the association’s mission by managing full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles across the organization. This position partners closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to deliver an inclusive, efficient, and positive hiring experience for candidates while ensuring compliance with association policies and best practices. This position will create and maintain processes that promote a streamlined and engaging candidate and stakeholder experience. 

 What You’ll Do: 

Recruitment & Hiring 

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination 

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and timelines 

  • Develop and post job announcements across appropriate platforms, including association networks and mission-aligned job boards 

  • Conduct phone and virtual interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment 

  • Coordinate interviews, reference checks, and pre-employment processes 

  • Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires 

Sourcing & Candidate Engagement 

  • Build and maintain diverse candidate pipelines using proactive sourcing strategies 

  • Represent the association professionally in all candidate interactions 

  • Support outreach efforts aligned with organizational goals 

Recruiting Metrics & Process Improvement 

  • Track and maintain accurate recruiting data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) 

  • Monitor and report on recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline activity, and offer acceptance rates 

  • Analyze recruiting data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement 

  • Prepare regular recruitment reports for HR leadership and stakeholders 

Compliance & Administration 

  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with employment laws, internal policies, and association guidelines 

  • Maintain organized and confidential recruitment records 

  • Assist with the development and refinement of recruiting processes, templates, and tools 

  • Lead Lions International employment branding, partner with Marketing team as needed 

  We’re Looking for Someone With: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience 

  • 3–5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, preferably in a non-profit, association, or mission-driven organization 

  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple roles 

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting metrics 

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills 

  • Experience recruiting for a variety of professional and administrative roles 

  • Knowledge of inclusive hiring practices 

  • SHRM or related HR certification 

Compensation: Exempt, $72,000- $82,000
