If so, this is the role for you.Michael and Son is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team!Key Responsibilities:Candidate Sourcing: Proactively identify and engage qualified candidates through a variety of search methods to build a strong talent pipeline.Selection and Hiring: Conduct screening calls, coordinate interview schedules, and lead candidate assessments.Relationship Management: Partner with internal managers to understand hiring needs, collaborate with local trade schools and universities to attract talent, build strong community partnerships, and maintain active pipelines Recruitment Outreach: Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and recruitment functions (up to 15% local travel across the DC Metro area, Baltimore, and Southern Virginia).Offers and Onboarding: Extend job offers, negotiate terms, and partner with the HR team to deliver a smooth new-hire experience.Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all recruiting practices align with employment laws while staying up to date on industry hiring trends.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of talent acquisition or recruiting experience.Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS software, and Microsoft Office.Solid understanding of recruitment techniques and processes
