The Talent Acquisition Specialist will use their creativity and passion for connecting people to meaningful work by sourcing and engaging top talent for Rea. Through innovative recruiting methods and personalized outreach, they will build a strong pipeline of candidates who align with the firm’s mission and values. By fostering positive candidate experiences and promoting the firm’s culture, they will help attract exceptional talent and contribute to Rea’s growth and success. 

Responsibilities

  • Assess candidate information, including resumes, skills, and qualifications, utilizing the applicant tracking system.
  • Conduct phone screens, administer assessments, and coordinate virtual and in-person interviews.
  • Partner with hiring managers across practice areas and firm locations to identify staffing needs and selection criteria.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication, feedback, and support throughout the hiring process.
  • Source talent through job postings, social media, Boolean searches, referrals, recruitment events, campus recruiting, networking, and other professional channels.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by promoting the firm’s culture, values, and employment opportunities internally and externally.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates to support ongoing recruitment efforts.
  • Manage strategic relationships with external organizations to attract and develop diverse talent pipelines.
  • Assist with on-site job fairs, campus recruiting events, and networking opportunities across various locations.
  • Coordinate campus recruiting logistics, including event scheduling, registrations, and attendee participation for activities such as career fairs and firm-hosted events.
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage recruiting and internship materials, including welcome kits and branded items.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and capture relevant recruiting data in the applicant tracking system in accordance with compliance guidelines.
  • Play an active role in internship recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and ongoing intern check-ins
  • Support internship program logistics and engagement initiatives, including job shadows, training sessions, and intern programming.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment planning, recruitment strategy, search, screening, assessment, and evaluation  
  • Ability to utilize recruiting and office technology 
  • Professionalism and discretion while working with highly confidential information  
  • Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, multi-tasking, time management, and communication skills  
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment 
Requirements
  • Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred
  • High School Diploma required
  • 1-2 years experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruiting
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting and utilizing applicant tracking systems 
  • Ability to travel within the state of Ohio on a seasonally frequent basis representing the firm at colleges, universities, and various recruitment events
