This is a great opportunity for someone who loves connecting with people, building relationships, and helping others explore new career opportunities.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play an important role in supporting our growing network of Farmers Insurance agencies. You’ll guide candidates through the recruiting process, from their first interaction with our team through phone screenings, interviews, licensing, and placement.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced recruiting role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys outreach, stays organized, follows through, and takes ownership of keeping candidates moving through the process.

You’ll work closely with agency owners, recruiters, and district leadership to identify great talent for sales, professional development, and future agency ownership opportunities.

If you're motivated, people-focused, and excited to be part of a growing team, we'd love to meet you!

Requirements

  • Source and connect with candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, referrals, and other recruiting channels
  • Review applications and identify candidates who align with our opportunities
  • Conduct high-volume phone screenings and evaluate candidate qualifications
  • Schedule and coordinate virtual and in-person interviews
  • Communicate with candidates by phone, text, and email throughout the recruiting process
  • Use Workable, our applicant tracking system (ATS), daily to manage recruiting activity and candidate communications
  • Maintain accurate candidate profiles, interview notes, pipeline stages, tasks, and follow-up activity within Workable
  • Utilize Workable's scheduling, messaging, and automation tools to keep candidates moving efficiently through the recruiting process
  • Support candidates working through insurance licensing and help keep them on track
  • Coordinate next steps with candidates, agency owners, and district leadership
  • Assist with candidate placement into sales, development, and agency ownership opportunities
  • Track recruiting activity, interviews, licensing progress, placements, and hires
  • Re-engage strong candidates for future opportunities
  • Provide a positive, professional, and responsive candidate experience

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is outgoing, motivated, organized, and genuinely enjoys helping people.

You'll be a great fit if you:

  • Enjoy talking to people and building relationships
  • Bring positive energy and enthusiasm to your work
  • Are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple candidates and priorities
  • Follow through and take ownership of your responsibilities
  • Are confident making outbound calls and conducting phone screenings
  • Communicate effectively by phone, text, email, and video
  • Are comfortable learning and using recruiting technology, applicant tracking systems, and digital tools
  • Are comfortable working toward recruiting goals and activity expectations
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Are self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn
  • Enjoy collaborating with recruiters, agency owners, and leadership

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, sales, insurance, customer service, or business development is preferred but not required.

Experience with Workable or another applicant tracking system (ATS) is a plus, but training will be provided.

We place a strong value on communication skills, organization, work ethic, attitude, and the ability to connect with people.

An insurance license is not required for this role. Candidates who hold an active Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license may qualify for a higher starting rate.
