Job Description

Nurtur Holdings is seeking a relationship-driven Recruitment Specialist to help grow our teams and connect future beauty professionals to meaningful careers. This role blends internal talent recruitment, high school outreach, and university partnership development to build strong pipelines for both employees and students across our organization. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, engaging with schools and communities, and creating opportunities that connect people with careers they're passionate about. This role is based in Loveland, Ohio, with local travel throughout Ohio, Kentucky, and East Indiana.

Responsibilities:

The Talent and Community Recruitment Specialist must exhibit certain characteristics and perform specific duties during their daily or weekly routine. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Uphold the Nurtur Core Values and Behaviors and Aveda Success Factors.

  • Meet and exceed performance goals established by the Director of Business Operations.

  • Perform duties as assigned and/or required to meet business needs.

  • Abide by all Nurtur policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook and Code of Conduct.

  • Internal Talent Recruitment (30%)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with pipeline candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams to fill open positions efficiently.

  • Generate candidate pipelines through sourcing, networking, and outreach strategies.

  • Ensure a seamless welcoming experience for candidates during the hiring process.

  • Support onboarding preparation and coordination for new hires.

  • High School Recruitment (40%)

  • Manage a recruitment territory across Ohio, Kentucky, and East Indiana.

  • Develop relationships with guidance counselors, educators, and school administrators.

  • Conduct school visits, classroom presentations, and outreach events to introduce students to career pathways in the beauty industry.

  • Campus Talent Acquisition (30%)

  • Build partnerships with local universities and career centers to support talent pipelines.

  • Coordinate internship postings and campus recruitment initiatives.

  • Attend career fairs and host on-campus engagement events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Comfortable speaking to groups and representing the organization in community settings.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of their territory and recruiting pipeline.
  • Experience in recruiting, admissions, talent acquisition, or campus outreach is preferred.
  • Experience working with high schools, universities, or internship programs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems or CRM tools is preferred.
  • Passion for education, career development, or the beauty and wellness industry.

Travel Requirements:

The team member in this position must be able to travel locally to events and for out-of-state training as necessary.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sit at a desk with a computer for up to eight (8) hours per day.
  • Use hands to handle objects and reach with hands and arms.
  • Walk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, speak, and hear.
  • See a computer screen and read paper and electronic documents.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds.
  • Tolerate a minimal to moderate noise level typical of a corporate office setting.
