Additional Information:
Provides strategic and operational HR partnership focused on talent strategy, workforce planning, compliance, and employee experience specific to research environments. The Partner acts as a trusted advisor to research leadership, Principal Investigators (PIs), and research teams, while serving as a connector to HR Centers of Excellence to ensure tailored, compliant, and responsive solutions.

1. Serve as the dedicated HR Partner to ACRI leadership, PIs, and research teams, providing research-specific, consultative support.
2. Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce transitions for grant-funded, time-limited, and specialized research roles.
3. Advise on workforce planning tied to grant awards, renewals, closeouts, and funding changes.
4. Partner with research leaders to design roles, job structures, and career pathways that support sustainable growth.
5. Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, and corrective action using a research-aware approach.
6. Partner with Research Administration, Compliance, Legal, and Immigration on grants, visas, effort reporting, and funding eligibility.
7. Interpret and apply HR policies through a research lens, recommending practical adaptations when needed.
8. Collaborate with HR COEs (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Employee Health, Learning) to tailor programs for ACRI.
9. Support change management, engagement, and culture initiatives that strengthen retention and performance in research.
10. Other duties as assigned.
