We are seeking someone with significant custody tax and/or tax advisory experience who can join us as the Vice President responsible for leading and developing a team overseeing such processes. This individual will set operational priorities, drive governance and continuous improvement, and ensure effective execution of day-to-day operations.

Join us if making your mark in the asset management industry from day one is a challenge you are up for.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Support tax oversight for investment products globally to help ensure accurate, timely, and efficient tax outcomes for funds and investors.
  • Proactively monitor tax legislative, regulatory, and/or administrative changes and cooperate closely with relevant stakeholders to maintain robust compliance posture amidst a changing regulatory landscape.
  • Design, document, and implement operational controls to support accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize tax operations and lead process improvement initiatives from design through implementation.
  • Conduct global tax research and prepare written communications on tax matters affecting funds (e.g., withholding tax and capital gains tax).
  • Serve as a global tax resource for Investment Operations, Portfolio Management, Relationship Management, Sales, and Product Development.

What we value:

  • Demonstrated people-management experience, including mentoring and developing direct reports
  • Experience with internal controls and process improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to propose process changes, build stakeholder alignment, and drive implementation
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting, but may consider Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Master's in Taxation and/or public accounting firm experience preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience supporting products across the full lifecycle (launch, ongoing governance, and change management)
  • Experience with digital assets and related investment products, including associated operational and tax considerations

Salary Range:
