You’ll work closely with the tax team to manage documents, support client service, and assist with day-to-day administrative needs.Essential Functions
- Verify tax returns and related tax documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide administrative support to tax partners, managers, and staff.
- Process and distribute engagement letters, tax returns, estimates, extensions, and organizers.
- Assist with file management, project deliverables, scanning, and other administrative tasks to support tax deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with clients and firm personnel while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Maintain strong organization and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Work overtime, including evenings and weekends, during peak tax deadline periods as needed.
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 2+ years of related experience.
- Previous administrative support experience; professional services experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Suite.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn new software and adapt to changing processes.
