Tax Experienced Staff Accountant - Tax Senior AccountantJOB DESCRIPTION
- Willingness to learn and be a team player
- Assist tax manager with tax research and compliance functions
- Assist with developing and implementing revenue generating concepts
- Prepare and review tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, etc.)
- Assures compliance with federal, state and local tax laws and regulations
- Conducts research and planning according to applicable tax laws and regulations
- Prepare sales tax audits, annual tax forms, projections and tax notices
- Minimizes tax liability through sound and informed application of laws and regulations
- Maintains tax records, related schedules and related reports
- Typically requires exercising independent judgment
- Other assignments as required
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience within a CPA Firm
- Bachelor's in Accounting required
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Master's degree in Tax is a plus
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures
- Proficient in Lacerte, RIA, BNA as well as other accounting software
- Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills
