Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager/ Senior Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a rapidly growing, forward-thinking company in the Accounting and Finance industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the tax planning, preparation, and review processes for both corporations and individuals. You will be expected to lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for our clients. This position offers excellent opportunities for leadership and career advancement.Responsibilities:1. Manage and coordinate tax audits for corporations and individuals.2. Identify and mitigate tax risks.3. Provide innovative tax planning and review of complex income tax returns.4. Stay abreast of current developments in tax laws to maintain compliance and efficiency.5. Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax reports.6. Oversee and manage team of junior tax professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.7. Manage clients’ tax provision and tax compliance needs.8. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.9. Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.10. Coordinate with tax professionals and advisors for audits and other tax planning events.11. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management on tax-related issues.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or a professional services firm.3. Proven experience as a tax manager, public accountant, or similar role.4. In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.5. Proficient in tax software and databases, as well as MS Office.6. Strong leadership and personnel management skills.7. Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.9. Keen attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.10. Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.11. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.12.
