Job Description

A stable & aggressive CPA firm is ready to add the next leader to the team. This opportunity is part of the firm’s plan for growth and the strengthening of the tax team before the new year. They are seeking a Tax Manager to join a team of highly motivated staff. The successful Tax Manager will have high ethical standards and make an impact on day one. This firm offers a wonderful culture, work/ life balance, competitive salary and benefit package with unlimited room for growth for the perfect incoming Tax Manager.

Performance Expectations for the Tax Manager:

Light preparation of complex returns with minimal supervision
Review of tax returns
Mentoring & teaching staff
Develop client relationships

Experience/Qualifications for the Tax Manager:

Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or Equivalent
CPA or EA Required
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in public accounting.
Must have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service
Must be willing to work >40 hours per week during busy season

Compensation for the Tax Manager:

25 days PTO/ year
401k w/match
Profit sharing
Major Holiday’s
Medical/Dental/Vision (Fully paid by the firm for the employee)
Family/ tight-knit feel
Busy season hours capped at 55hrs/ week
