Job DetailsResponsibilities:1. Oversee and manage the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns related to real estate transactions.2. Lead and manage 1031 Exchange transactions and ensure compliance with all related tax laws and regulations.3. Manage and execute 754 elections and 743(b) adjustments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.4. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients in the real estate industry.5. Conduct thorough tax research and stay abreast of current tax laws and regulations, particularly those related to real estate.6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure the accuracy of financial reports and tax returns.7. Communicate and liaise with regulatory authorities and auditors regarding tax audits and queries.8. Provide expert guidance and advice on tax matters to senior management and clients.9. Train and mentor junior staff members on tax-related matters.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax manager role, preferably in the real estate sector.3. Extensive knowledge of 1031 Exchange, 754 elections, 743(b) adjustments, and other tax regulations related to real estate.4. Proven experience in preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.5. Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.7. Proficient in tax preparation software and other related financial systems.8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.10.
