We’re seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a well-established regional CPA and advisory firm that emphasizes professional growth, client service, and technical excellence.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Plan, supervise, and review complex tax engagements for:Corporations, partnerships, and individualsFiduciary and trust returnsMulti-state filings and specialized compliance areasConduct and document thorough tax research and analysisStay current with IRS, state, and local tax law developmentsRespond to tax authority inquiries and support clients through examinations or noticesMentor, train, and support the development of tax staffProvide constructive performance feedback and lead by exampleSupport business development by cultivating client relationships and identifying new opportunitiesPartner with firm leadership to provide insight and contribute to service enhancements
QualificationsBachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field8+ years of tax experience in public accounting preferredCPA license required (or actively pursuing licensure where applicable)Strong technical understanding of federal and state tax codes with proven research skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadline-driven engagementsProficiency with tax software such as CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Engagement, and Microsoft Office tools is preferredTeam-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and a client service mindset
