Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking an experienced and driven Permanent Tax Manager to join our dynamic accounting and finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage and lead our tax operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our company complies with all tax regulations and optimizes our tax liabilities. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services for our clients. This position offers excellent opportunities for leadership and career advancement for the right candidate.Responsibilities:1. Review and manage the preparation of a broad range of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.2. Plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects in a wide variety of industries.3. Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.4. Conduct tax research and remain current on new tax laws and regulations.5. Manage, develop, and mentor members of the tax team.6. Serve as the primary engagement manager with economic responsibilities for billing, realization, and collections.7. Develop and sustain strong client relationships.8. Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services including planning, research, and other mergers and acquisitions activities.9. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and sustain excellent client relationships.10. Manage risks and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and project budgets.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Master’s degree in Taxation is highly desirable.2. Must hold a CPA certification or equivalent qualification.3. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend.4. Proficiency in tax planning, compliance, and tax strategy.5. Extensive experience with S Corp, partnership, and corporate tax planning and compliance.6. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.7. Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.8. Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.9. Strong organizational and management skills—able to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.10. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with tax preparation and research software.11. Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.12. Strong client relationship management skills and an ability to develop unique solutions for complex technical challenges.13.
