Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a key liaison between senior managers, partners, clients, and staff throughout all phases of engagements
- Prepare and review Forms 990, 990âT, and related state returns
- Support joint cost allocations and taxâexempt compliance matters
- Advise clients on taxâexempt status and regulatory considerations
- Identify and evaluate unrelated business income tax (UBIT), including planning and exposure reviews
- Assist with the formation of taxable and nonâtaxable subsidiaries
- Support planned giving strategies and advisory services
- Monitor and interpret legislative changes impacting notâforâprofit organizations
- Conduct excess benefit transaction studies
- Contribute to staff development by coaching, mentoring, and sharing technical knowledge
- Participate in new client business development and relationship building

What You Bring
- Strong technical and analytical skills in notâforâprofit taxation
- Ability to manage deadlines and meet time constraints in a fastâpaced environment
- A relationshipâfocused mindset with a passion for helping clients achieve their goals
- Desire to coach and develop tax associates through knowledge sharing
- Professional, inclusive demeanor that contributes to a positive team culture
- Willingness to support business development efforts
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting, tax consulting, or similar, with a focus on notâforâprofit clients
- 3+ years of direct notâforâprofit tax experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Active CPA license
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and tax preparation software
Pay
- The anticipated hiring range for this position is $108,600-$141,200 and is dependent on relevant experience, qualifications, and skills.
