Tax Manager - Warrendale, PA (Greater Pittsburg)Who: A seasoned tax professional with strong technical expertise and the ability to manage multiple complex engagements.What: Lead tax planning, consulting, and compliance work while mentoring staff and serving as the primary client contact.When: Hiring immediately to support the expanding Warrendale, PA market.Where: Warrendale, Pennsylvania on a hybrid schedule (2–3 days per week in office).Why: To strengthen a high-performing tax practice through leadership, innovation, and superior client service.Office Environment: Collaborative, fast-paced, quality-driven, and focused on integrity, professional development, and client success.Salary: Competitive compensation supported by a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package.Position Overview:The Tax Manager will lead multiple client engagements, review complex tax returns, deliver strategic tax planning, and support staff development while maintaining and enhancing strong client relationships across a wide range of industries and entity types.Key Responsibilities:● Manage multiple tax engagements, providing strategic planning, consulting, and compliance guidance.● Prepare and review complex returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.● Review staff work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to budgets.● Collaborate with managers and partners to maintain and grow client relationships.● Mentor and coach tax staff at various levels.● Resolve technical tax issues and respond to inquiries from the IRS and state tax authorities.● Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client deliverables.● Identify additional client needs and introduce relevant firm services.Qualifications:● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.● Active CPA license required.● 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.● Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and tax authority standards.● Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.● Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.● Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.● Proficiency with tax software and strong overall technical skills.If you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.
