Tax Manager - Raleigh, NCWho: An experienced tax professional with strong managerial experience and expertise in pass-through entity and corporate taxation.What: Manage complex tax engagements, oversee compliance, lead staff development, and serve as the primary client contact.When: Hiring immediately to support a growing regional tax practice.Where: Raleigh, NC market on a hybrid schedule (2–3 days per week in office).Why: To strengthen a dynamic tax team by providing leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional client service.Office Environment: Collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on continuous learning, integrity, and professional growth.Salary: Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives and comprehensive benefits.Position Overview:The Tax Manager will manage client tax compliance needs, anticipate tax and business issues, and identify planning opportunities while guiding the professional growth of less experienced team members.Key Responsibilities:● Serve as primary client contact, managing workflows, deadlines, deliverables, and communications.● Review complex tax returns across multiple industries, including tax provision work.● Solve tax and business challenges for clients in manufacturing, real estate, professional services, and high-net-worth categories.● Lead and mentor Tax Staff and Seniors in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.● Utilize strong project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.● Provide exceptional client service and recognize opportunities for value-added tax planning.Qualifications:● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s preferred.● Active CPA license required.● 5+ years of public accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.● Strong understanding of pass-through entity structures and a general understanding of corporate taxation.● Working knowledge of partnership taxation, especially regarding equity investments.If you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.
