Tax ManagerTop regional accounting firm in Orange County is seeking a Tax Manager.As a member of the tax team, the Tax Manager will work with a diverse client base and the primary responsibilities include:Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, business, estates, trusts and researches unusual tax matters
- Assist business partners with other financial aspects of business, taxes, financial, strategy, etc.
- Manage, develop and mentor staff on projects and assess performance through periodic performance evaluations and informal feedback
- Identify and communicate creative ideas to improve client service, and entrepreneurial spirit to expand services with clients
- High energy and motivation level
- High quality client service
- Ability to think independently and problem solve
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field
- Valid California CPA license in good standing
- 7+ years tax experience including at least three years in a CPA firm
- Solid technical skills in tax accounting
- Desirous of career advancement Successful problem-solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated skills necessary to ensure high quality client service
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines and budgets
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel), Tax programs (CCH Access, PDFlyer, SurePrep, GruntWorx, TValue, Quickbooks)
