Tax Manager

Full-service public accounting firm has been providing accounting, tax, audit and litigation services to individuals, businesses and the legal community of all sizes and complexities throughout the Northern San Francisco Bay Area. We provide an incomparable personalized service to help our clients achieve a bright financial future.

We're currently seeking a motivated, hands-on self-starter with 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience to lead tax engagements for privately-held businesses and high net worth individuals.

Responsibilities:

Perform technical tax preparation & review of individual & business income tax returns

Independently research complex tax issues

Provide comprehensive & thorough tax planning

Supervise, train and mentor junior staff

Develop and cultivate professional client relationships

Qualifications:

5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience

Bachelors degree in Accounting (MST a plus)

Current CPA license

Strong accounting, communication, organizational, analytical, client service and PC skills including MS Excel & accounting software proficiency (ProSystem fx software proficiency is a plus)

Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment

Motivation to learn

Prior real estate industry experience and Trust & Estate experience are a plus
