What you will do

• Manage, review, and sign off on a variety of federal, state, and local tax returns for businesses and individuals.
• Lead tax planning engagements, identifying opportunities and advising clients on strategies aligned with their goals.
• Serve as a primary contact for clients -- providing proactive insights, explanations, and recommendations.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff accountants and senior-level team members.
• Ensure high-quality client service through effective workflow management, review procedures, and process improvements.
• Conduct and oversee tax research, interpret legislation, and help develop firm-wide best practices.
• Partner with accounting and advisory teams to deliver a cohesive, comprehensive service experience.

What we're looking for

• CPA preferred (or actively pursuing).
• Approximately 5+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally in public accounting or a similar advisory-focused environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations for business entities and individuals.
• Excellent communication skills -- able to explain complex topics clearly to business owners.
