It's an opportunity to become a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, privately held businesses, family-owned companies, and business owners while helping lead a talented team, mentor future leaders, and contribute to the continued growth of a thriving advisory practice.

The firm is known for its client-first culture, deep technical expertise, and commitment to developing professionals who want to build meaningful careers. • Diverse and sophisticated tax planning engagements
  • Meaningful client-facing responsibilities
  • Leadership and mentorship opportunities
  • Direct access to firm leadership
  • Strong advancement potential
  • Collaborative, people-focused culture

Exceptional candidates with significant high-net-worth client experience, advanced technical expertise, business-development success, or management experience may be considered above the posted compensation range.

The Opportunity

As a Tax Manager, you'll serve as both a technical expert and strategic advisor while helping lead client engagements and develop the firm's next generation of professionals.

This role offers a unique combination of:

  • Tax Planning & Advisory
  • High-Net-Worth Client Services
  • Client Relationship Management

Key Responsibilities

  • Review tax returns and related work prepared by staff and senior professionals
  • Develop proactive strategies designed to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client outcomes
  • Research and interpret emerging tax legislation and communicate planning opportunities
  • Assist clients with succession planning, wealth preservation, and long-term business strategies

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key client relationships
  • Meet regularly with clients to understand evolving needs and objectives
  • Deliver exceptional client service through responsiveness, expertise, and strategic guidance
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and strengthen client relationships

  • Mentor, train, and develop senior staff, staff accountants, and interns
  • Review work and provide constructive feedback
  • Assist with workflow management, quality control, and engagement profitability
  • Foster a collaborative culture focused on professional growth and client success

Practice Growth

  • Participate in networking and business development activities

  • Wants increased leadership responsibility and visibility
  • Seeks long-term career advancement within a respected firm
