The Work
You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of tax work across both individual and business returns, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being a true tax generalist.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns including:
- 1040
- 1041
- 1120 / 1120S
- 1065
- Estate & trust returns
- Working directly with clients across a variety of industries
- Assisting with tax planning and client advisory work
- Reviewing returns for accuracy and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Collaborating closely with firm leadership and team members
This role offers excellent exposure and the ability to continue building your technical skillset beyond simple compliance work.
What They’re Looking For
- 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA eligible, actively pursuing CPA, or EA preferred
- Experience preparing and reviewing a variety of return types
- Strong generalist tax background
- Experience with CCH Axcess or ProSystems is a plus
- Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
- $70,000 – $95,000 base salary DOE
- Year-end bonus potential
