Tax Senior Accountant
Location: Greater Bend Area (hybrid)
A respected and growing public accounting firm in Central Oregon is looking to add an experienced Tax Senior Accountant to its expanding tax team. This role offers far more than tax preparation—you'll become a trusted resource for clients while collaborating with experienced professionals on planning, consulting, and complex tax engagements.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and review individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns
- Develop tax projections and assist clients with proactive tax planning strategies
- Research tax issues and recommend practical solutions
- Partner with senior leadership on consulting and advisory engagements
- Build long-term relationships with business owners and individual clients
- Review staff work and provide coaching and technical guidance when appropriate
- Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining quality and deadlines
What you Need
- 4+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
- Experience preparing and reviewing 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S tax returns
- Familiarity with tax planning, projections, and client consulting
- CPA preferred, or actively working toward licensure
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional client service
