Job Description
A well-established, highly profitable regional CPA firm is seeking an experienced Tax Senior with Estate and Trust Tax expertise to join its growing tax practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for a public accounting professional who enjoys working on complex fiduciary tax engagements while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

What You'll Do
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns with an emphasis on:
Estates
Trusts
Fiduciary entities
High-net-worth individuals
Assist with tax planning strategies for estate, trust, and individual clients.
Conduct technical tax research and resolve complex tax issues.
Prepare responses to tax notices and assist with governmental tax examinations.
Deliver exceptional client service while managing multiple engagements and meeting deadlines.
Collaborate with managers and partners on complex tax matters and planning opportunities.
Review work prepared by junior staff and provide constructive feedback.
Mentor and train staff accountants while supporting their professional development.
Stay current on tax legislation and regulations affecting estate, trust, and fiduciary taxation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in Taxation or related field preferred.
2–5 years of progressive public accounting tax experience.
Required experience preparing estate and trust (fiduciary) tax returns.
Experience with high-net-worth individual tax returns is a plus.
CPA license preferred (or progress toward CPA certification is a plus).
Previous experience reviewing staff work or mentoring junior accountants preferred.
Strong technical tax research and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and client service abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
